Washington, D.C. Fly-In

The Greater Houston Partnership is heading to Washington, D.C. to advocate for the greater Houston region.
This three-day event brings together members of Congress, the White House, federal agencies and key stakeholders with leaders of Houston’s business community to advance issues important to the Houston region.
Agenda
D.C. Fly-In activities will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday and conclude at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Tuesday, April 26
2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Welcome Event at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Welcome remarks and overview of the Partnership’s federal legislative agenda followed by a briefing delivered by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and remarks from Administration and agency officials.
6:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Evening Reception and Seated Dinner
Wednesday, April 27
7:30 – 9:00 a.m. | Breakfast Conversation on Energy and Energy Transition
10:00 – 4:00 p.m.| Meetings with Members of Congress on Capitol Hill
Noon – 1:00 p.m. | Lunch
6:00 – 9:00 p.m. | Dinner and Drinks at the Washington Nationals Game
Thursday, April 28
9:00 – 11:00 a.m. | Breakfast Briefing at U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Closing remarks followed by a Keynote Speaker

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: Following current city and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce mandates, please plan at this time to submit proof of a 2-shot vaccination at least 2 weeks in advance of the fly-in date. We will continue to monitor mandates in place and update this information as necessary.
