Volunteers Needed! – 3rd Ward on Tap Celebration

**[NEO’s](https://www.neoproject.org)** **[Healthy Outdoor Communities](https://www.neoproject.org/hoc)** initiative has grown into a large collaborative of community members and organizations. Together, we work together to improve community health, well-being, and resilience by promoting equitable access to nature and the outdoors in underserved neighborhoods. After HOC provided free community training on the power of tactical urbanism projects, Third Ward community members used that training to plan and carry out an annual community celebration on the Columbia Tap Trail… 3rd Ward on Tap!
NEO will have a ton of games and activities on-site alongside Workshop Houston and the main stage. This is a super fun even with tons of vendors, music, food, activities, and more! Volunteers will enjoy playing games with and getting to know some of the community members and organizations we have been working with for the past several years. Plus, you’ll get a highly-coveted, incredibly soft NEO t-shirt!
We need plenty of NEO volunteers to help out. As always, kids can accompany parents to volunteer, and we will sign off on community service hours for anyone who needs them.
