Buffalo Bayou Partnership is teaming up with three Houston parks to bring you Jazzy Sundays, a series of FREE, outdoor jazz concerts. The series celebrates the vibrancy and rich tradition of jazz and the incredible Houstonians who preserve the artform.

Family-friendly concerts will be held Sundays, March 3, 10, 17 and 24 at Emancipation Park; every Sunday in April at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park; and Sundays, May 5, 12 and 26 and June 2 at Discovery Green from 5-7 p.m.

Jazzy Sundays is made possible by a grant from the Kinder Foundation.

Location: The Water Works Lawn in Buffalo Bayou Park (105-B Sabine St.)

• April 7: Ghost-Note with Monterey Jazz @ TSU All-Stars
• April 14: Free Radicals with Hot Box
• April 21: R&D Lab with Lolade
• April 28: Chief Adjuah with Sal Capone

Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
