Scott Sambucci

Scott Sambucci is a startup coach, keynote speaker, podcaster, and best-selling author. He has spent 25 years building and selling enterprise technology products as an executive at two publicly traded companies and leading three Silicon Valley startups each to their first millions in revenue – Aplia (acquired by Cengage Learning), Altos Research (acquired by HW Media), and Blend Labs (IPO in July 2021; NYSE: BLND).

Today, as the Founder and Chief Sales Geek at SalesQualia, Scott and his team work with enterprise SaaS startups and tech companies all over the world and across several industries, including FinTech, HR Tech, EdTech, Health Care, Manufacturing, Construction, and artificial intelligence.

Outside of work, Sambucci is an accomplished endurance athlete, completing three Ironman triathlons, an 11-mile swim across Lake Tahoe, and a 21-mile ocean swim across the Catalina Channel. He’s also completed more than two dozen ultramarathons, including four 100-mile and two 200-mile footraces.

In 2022, Scott became a Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion by winning his division’s title at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation International Championships in Las Vegas, NV.

Scott earned an MBA in Finance from Duke University and a MA in Economics from the University of San Francisco. He lives in Davis, CA with his wife and son, two cats, a dog, five chickens, three goats, and two horses.
