Is wireless pipe recovery the future?

Tenax’s HydraShock continues to be a primary jarring technology used on large diameter coiled tubing strings in some of the harshest environments known to exist in the oil and gas industry. With this technological advancement the HydraCut was born as a new wireless pipe recovery system, and has become the standard in cutting stuck coiled tubing.  

While working in these complex and difficult environments, TENAX has developed technology for jointed tubular wireless pipe recovery and wireless tubular pressure control services. 

This conversation with the Founder and CEO Kevin Jones is to discuss the challenges and wins in the aforementioned technology and to share our ultimate objective at Tenax Energy Solutions, which is to create and refine an autonomous pipe recovery system. About our Speaker Kevin Jones, the founder and CEO of Tenax Energy Solutions, has spent the last few years in the Thru-tubing industry both as a developer and an implementer of various downhole technologies.  Kevin’s many patents extend into the Thru-tubing, coiled tubing, and the drilling industry to name a few.  You can see in some of his inventions he draws inspiration from the likes of Nikola Tesla and Dean Kamen, showing the pool of solutions should never be constrained to the industry in which they will be implemented.
