Higher Ed Military & Veteran Benefits: Steps on HOW-TO use your benefits

February 21, 2023 @ 12:00 pm1:00 pm

Come and learn about what the university would like you to know about using your military and veteran educational benefits.

As a military affiliated student or prospective student, it is important to know how to best use your benefits. Regardless, if you are the spouse, a family member using transferred benefits, or the veteran, this seminar is for you. Maybe you are an active-duty family member or service member thinking about going back to school after military service. Again, this seminar is for you. Knowledge is power and knowing how to use your benefits to the best of your ability will help to actualize your educational pursuits.

But…what does the university want you to know about using your benefits? What are some pitfalls and challenges that military affiliated students face? How can universities around the country support? Come with your question, as we welcome Mr. David Lessenberry, USN, retired and current student veteran advisor at the University of Texas at Austin Veteran & Military Affiliated Services Office.

To be eligible for this group you must be the spouse, partner, or family member of an active duty service member or post-service veteran or an active duty service member, or post service veteran.
