The Family Fun Fest is an outdoor, rain-or-shine festival from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at River Pointe Church in Richmond. The event is designed to bring together families to have fun and foster a sense of community and acceptance while learning about different programs and services available for the special needs community. Bounce houses, a giant slide, games, balloon art, face painting, caricature artists, performers, big bubbles, food trucks, snow cones, and more make for a thrilling day for families.
Family Fun Fest raises funds and awareness of autism which impacts a staggering 1 in 36 American children. While the cause remains unknown, autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability in the U.S. The lifetime cost of care for one person with autism is estimated to extend up to $2.4 million; families need us now, more than ever.
