City Walk Downtown Dog Parks, 6.9 miles

**(Its not only for dogs)**

**Dog Parks downtown** and of course everything else! This walk is for the dogs, so they have plenty of **fire plugs** and **lampposts** to pee on and all the other things dogs do under the name of socializing. That makes this the walk to bring your **leashed , friendly dog** that is not too heavy for you to carry if they give out half way through the walk. We will be going to the **Market Square Park, Trebley Park, the Dog Park at Discovery Green,** and **EaDog,** just east of downtown. Bring your dogs and let them pull you around downtown!

**Parking:**
There is plenty of free parking around the Platypus.

Our organizers are not guides nor do we have any special training. We are here to come up with hiking ideas and get the hike started. Take the same precautions you would if hiking alone, including the fitness needed to make long hikes. Then enjoy the hike among friends.

The walk is over paved sidewalks and is a mix of dark and urban shadows.
