We’re all familiar with Piedmont and Tuscany as Italy’s most renowned destinations for wine lovers, but the richness of these regions still leaves ample room for discovery. Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30 to explore the lesser known wines from Italy’s best known wine regions. Don’t get us wrong; we love a good bottle of Barolo or Brunello di Montalcino as much as the next person, but why stop there? Let’s taste our way through Italy to explore gli insospettabili, the unexpected delights, the undrunk heroes. We are pleased to welcome Niccolò “Nick” Saltarelli of Ethica Wines as our presenter for what is sure to be una serata fantastica.

About the presenter

Nick was born and raised in Milan, but he started globe-trotting around Europe when he was 14, moving to Australia at 18. Nick attended the prestigious Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland and got certified as Sommelier (Wine and Sake). He worked in some of the finest wine sections in Malaysia, Switzerland, and the UK before taking on a new challenge as F&B Manager and Wine Director for New York City Masterchef Geoffrey Zakarian. Nick has been with Ethica Wines since 2022.

It relaxes you after a day of work and prepares you for the night to come. The aperitivo has long been a staple in Italy, and in recent years, has been gaining more appreciation around the world.
