In this presentation, a sealing a sealing technology will be introduced. It is liquid on surface, and solidifies to a strong rubbery solid after pump into formation. Both lab test results and case study will be discussed in the presentation. It showed that the material can hold more than 5000 psi differential after solidifies in fracture.

Compared to other sealing or diversion methods, such as casing patch, cemented liner, and particle diverters, this sealing material can penetrate into fractures or formation, not just rely on staying at the entrance of the leakage point, which creates more reliable sealing. Moreover, it doesn’t dissolve in water or acid once solidifies. So it is a long term sealing material, rather than just being a temporary diverter.

This sealing technology can be used for refrac, water shut off, and casing leakage repair.— This iCal file does *NOT* confirm registration.Event details subject to change. —
