For nearly 100 years, United Way of Greater Houston has brought together diverse partners and approaches to get to the root of complex challenges holding people back.
We are a driving force for good that connects our neighbors to opportunities to thrive. We help our neighbors achieve financial stability, support families and youth with physical and behavioral health and educational services along the way, and provide the safety net that catches the most vulnerable.
And, we manage every gift with care – shepherding your donation to make the greatest impact in the place we call home.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
“Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” -Peter Drucker
Leadership requires continuous learning, a willingness explore the unfamiliar, an openness to new experiences.
Peer Circles are small peer groups of nonprofit executives that meet monthly to network and to share issues, and to receive and give feedback on issues presented by the members.
Project Blueprint is designed to prepare emerging and current leaders in our multicultural community for leadership roles on nonprofit and public sector boards and committees. We are looking for candidates representing diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds who have completed their education, are working professionals, and have demonstrated their interest in community engagement
