During the height of the pandemic Covid-19 social media exploded with birria tacos, we first learned about Birria from California and that’s how this Birria trend started in Houston.

Houston had an opportunity for a new Birria place where it would be served 7 days a week vs only on weekends. We decided to open up a place where everyone is welcome and greeted as a family member. Being raise in Houston we notice that most taquerias only cater directly to the hispanic community. But we wanted to create an environment where everyone is welcome. To enjoy our food.

TJ Birria was establish in March of 2020, we have been in business for 2 years, After opening our first location in Stafford, TX we decided to expand to the Heights area in Houston, TX.

Bringing Houston and surrounding areas one of the best Birria in town. Where all people are welcome with a warm friendly smile.

We are ranked 4.5 – 5 stars in both Yelp and Google reviews and have lots of fans on social media.
