MortgageMack has three grown boys two granddaughters and one grandson. He has also completed 7 IronMan triathlons, dozens of marathons and dozens of smaller triathlons. Blankenship was a guide for a blind athlete in the 2012 Boston Marathon and at the 2015 Para-Olympic Nationals Triathlon.
