Educational Program: Conflict Management: Creating Motivating Environments by Removing the Energy Drain that Kills Teamwork*
Description
Conflict Management: Creating Motivating Environments by Removing the Energy Drain that Kills Teamwork*
Presented by Mike Lejeune, CERS, CPC, CTS, Lighting the Path, LLC
Navigating the stormy, chaotic environment caused by social distancing and a constricting economy is stretching all of our leadership skills. Today, more than ever, effective leadership of high-performance teams requires the ability to resolve conflict when a difference of opinions or perspectives surface and impairs productivity. Leaders create impact by identifying triggers that escalate situations and develop effective strategies for defusing emotionally charged situations. You will gain an understanding of sometimes destructive behaviors that arise during conflict, and learn a roadmap to help ease tension, tear down silos, and redirect focus to company or customer objectives–maybe even at home.
With more than 25 years in leading companies and industry trade associations, MIKE LEJEUNE built Lighting the Path Consulting to help ignite the fire in people to stretch their horizons and realize their importance in the lives that surround them. Each keynote, workshop and consulting project Mike leads focuses on reasons that today’s workforce becomes disenfranchised and he offers techniques and strategies industry champions use to lead high performing organizations. Mike’s programs address the how-to for building sound engagement techniques and more importantly, challenges the “why” behind approaches and strategies to offer new windows into current day business solutions.
