Topic: Changing the Narrative of Feminism: From Silo to Intersectionality
As individual changemakers and leaders, we need to begin treating and reframing the fight for equity as a fight for all. Issues of equality ripple well beyond the confines of the victimized demographic. Not to mention, as humans, we are multifaceted creatures that self-identify across a swath of categories and cannot be defined as a silo. By understanding the nature of our own intersectionality as well as the complex and nuanced intersectionality of others, we can lead from a place of vulnerability, authenticity and with a new found understanding that an equitable world is best for all.
