The Ion: The Ion is a nearly 300,000-square-foot structure that fosters a community and culture where corporate innovators, academic partners, community partners, startups, and entrepreneurs come together to solve some of the world’s greatest problems. The Ion serves as a home to academic and corporate R&D centers as well as startup accelerators, labs, and co-working space.

In its second year, the Future of Global Energy Conference Presented by Chevron showcases how the Partnership’s Houston Energy Transition Initiative and Center for Houston’s Future are convening leaders across industry, academia and policy to realize solutions to achieve a sustainable energy future.
