Join us to learn how to use a story to build trust and affinity with your customers.
In this workshop you will:
· Learn the six steps that make a great story
· Find the story that reveals the insight and behavioral change you need
· Match the story to the need; tell the story to reveal hidden insight and new belief and action.
Participants are invited to share a short story to shape it into the six steps that make a great story.
You will learn tips to make the story brief, personal and inspiring so the audience connects with you.
Most importantly – learn how to get the listener to change behavior and take some type of action.
Finally, we will review the differences between a story presented live and in person vs via video or in writing.
This will be a powerful and entertaining event!
About the Speaker
Steve Austin is a 25-year veteran of Silicon Valley and founder of Silicon Valley iLab.
He has worked with over 2,500 startups—giving him a unique insight into the patterns of success . Dozens of startups have raised funds and scaled up after attending the workshops.
Steve has been the CEO, COO and VP Sales and Marketing. He has been responsible for driving company revenue through good times and 3 recessions. Steve is a serial entrepreneur. He has developed and launched a dozen high-tech products for making computer chips and enterprise billing. has managed global operations including personally making $100s of millions in B2B sales.
Steve has presented workshops in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and around the world. He has spoken at Conferences at Tsinghua, Geju and SUES Universities in China and at Techparks in Austria, Korea and Turkey.
Steve has a BS in Finance and a major in Chemistry. He plays guitar and hikes for fun.
