ONLINE: “Explore the Sun with the McDonald Observatory on Wed. June 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. CDT. We will show you live images of the Sun (weather permitting) with specially filtered telescopes and cameras. You will learn about sunspots, prominences, solar flares, and some of the patterns that we observe with the Sun. June 21st marks the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere, so we will also be discussing solstices in detail. The hosts and moderators will be available to answer your questions about the Sun.”
