Beginner Mosaic Workshop

August 19 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Learn the basics of mosaicking and create your own mosaic in this beginner-level workshop. No experience required!

Discover the joy of mosaics and create your own original work of art to cherish and bring home with you! We are delighted to offer our Beginner Mosaic Workshop with instructor Elizabeth Gtz. Carabeo. We will provide most materials (please see list of required tools below), making this workshop an unbeatable value with tickets starting at just $160.

Over four, two-hour workshops, we will cover a brief history of the ancient art of mosaics and walk you through mosaicking step-by-step, from selecting your design to grouting and finishing your unique work of art. No prior experience is required, although we welcome those of you who participated in our first Beginner Mosaic Workshop in April to take this course, as we will be using different templates. This course will meet Monday evenings at the Italian Cultural & Community Center (1101 Milford Street, Houston, TX 77006).
