FREE EVENT: The Rice Observatory will host an open house on September 13, from 7-10:15 p.m. – Brockman Hall 400
From Pat Reiff: “The Physics & Astronomy Department is hosting its first open house of the school year on Friday September 13 (In case of clouds will be postponed to Sept 14).
“The evening will start with a public lecture in Brockman 103 “Fly me to the Moon – Apollo and Artemis” (7-8 pm) with public observing starting 8:15 pm at Brockman 400.”

If the weather is iffy, we may have the lecture on Friday and make a final decision on weather at that time.
If it’s completely overcast or stormy, both the lecture and observing will postpone to Saturday.
