AuthorPalooza is a three day conference event sponsored by the Houston Writers Guild.

On Friday evening, we kick off the conference weekend with a celebration of the winning authors of our annual contest. This year we collaborated with WiVLA and are proud to release the anthology Journey into Time with the contest entries who won and/or received honorable mention. On Saturday, we start the main day of sessions with opening remarks at 9am followed by our key note speaker. There are two break out sessions with multiple presentations as well as key workshop presentations. Check out the agenda for the day to see which sessions you would like to attend.

On Sunday, we close our conference weekend with a craft of writing workshop.

Agents and Editors:

We will have a few agents as well as aquisition editors available to take pitch sessions on Saturday. More information on those will post here as they become available. Check back periodically as these are add on elements that are purchased separately from the main conference ticket.
