Things to do in Houston and Houston Business Directory
Aurora Picture Show and Buffalo Bayou Partnership co-present this free evening of video art along the Buffalo Bayou East waterfront. For NIGHT LIGHT 2024 on April 6, Houston artists Violette Bule, Ronald Jones, and Nick Vaughan & Jake Margolin have been commissioned to create new, site-specific media works along a 1/2 mile stretch of bayou trails. In addition, this year’s event will include the premiere of HomeBayou, a collaborative, animated film made by artist Ezra Wube with residents of the Greater East End and Fifth Ward. A market with music by DJ Gracie Chavez, food trucks, and local vendors will be located at Tony Marron Park (808 N York St.), and the artists’ installations will be connected by paths for walking and biking. Join us for this festive, uniquely Houston experience!
