KPI’s (key performance indicators) and Benchmarks have never been more prevalent than in our time of Big Data – from ML (machine learning) models to AI (artificial intelligence)-based predictive analytics, everything in our business can now be expressed as a KPI, and then compared to our peers, and then monitored over time.

Coupa would like to share these industry-leading benchmarks & performance findings (KPI’s) with the broader Houston supply chain community in an effort to allow other companies within the Houston community to benchmark themselves to class leading data that is specific to their industry, region and goals. ISM-Houston will be co-presenting on the value of cross-collaboration on Key Metrics.

Caleb Jones has spent 14 years in the SaaS (software-as-a-service) industry leading consulting & business strategy teams, with a focus on Economic Engineering, which is a value-based business methodology for determining ROI (return on investment) using benchmarks, data analysis and KPI’s (key performance indicators.). Currently, Caleb is a Senior Director in Coupa’s Strategic Value Analysis Team and is responsible for Coupa’s Enterprise business in the Central United States and Latin America. Prior to joining Coupa, Caleb spent 10 years in the sell-side software space working at a Houston-based software company focusing on revenue optimization, and has served as a Board Advisor and Startup Advisor in both Texas and California. Caleb has also spent several stints of his career in Europe, Asia, and Latin America working in both the business community and also serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
