Event Program: Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day 2023
More Information: Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IAGTE) is a day established to help young girls (Grades 6 – 9) understand the opportunities available in the field of engineering. SWE-HA is holding its annual IAGTE event on Saturday, February 18th from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This is a free event and will be held in person on the campus of the University of Houston – Main Campus.
Registration for students and volunteers for the event is currently open. You can find more information and register on our website at https://www.houstonswe.org/iagte.html
The event also has a parent/educator program (PEP) where parents and educators can learn about STEM resources available to them in the area. Registration for PEP is also open and more information be found on the website.
The IAGTE program is first come first serve to sign up and there will be a waitlist once we have reached our maximum registration. Deadline for registration is Friday February 3rd, 2023.
