Chill out with some of the coolest critters around! Grab a frozen treat, enjoy a refreshing root beer (or regular beer) from Saint Arnold Brewing Co., and get up close and personal with live wild animals from TWRC. You’ll learn all about Houston’s amazing urban wildlife – including opossums – and then you’ll go on a guided hike to enjoy a truly wild night out.
This class involves a nighttime hike. Please dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. We will provide DEET-based mosquito repellent.
Instructor bio: TWRC has been providing emergency care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife since 1979. Their educational outreach programs help the public understand the importance of conservation and inspire an appreciation for native Texas wildlife.
