National Volunteer Week is April 17 – 23, 2022. Let’s celebrate! Every year this event serves three purposes.
- Celebrating and recognizing outstanding volunteers
- Connect with Houston’s vibrant volunteer community
- Promoting a sense of community + excitement through volunteerism in the Gulf Coast region
WHAT TO DO AT THE EVENT:
- Visit the nonprofit showcase
- Compete in live trivia for prizes
- Gather with fellow Service Year alumni
- Build a fold away student desk to benefit students in vulnerable communities
- Support food trucks with a cause
- Celebrate the spotlight volunteers
- Stop by the kid zone
- Donate blood
- Take a selfie on the red carpet
- And have fun!
